Singletrack Health Helps out at YMCA “Healthy Kids Day
Team Singletrack brought our A game at the YMCA ‘Healthy Kids Day’ on Saturday, April 29th.. Nurse Kate and our manager Ann did face painting. Beth Wallace, our LPN and our Super-Clerk Suzi Snively had kids (and some parents) do a ‘fitness challange’ where they completed a set of exercises while being timed. We all had a lot of fun! Here are some pictures from the day!

Junior Noquemanon Scholarship Program
Singletrack Health is proud to support the Noquemanon ski marathon and the NTN. Our mission with the sponsorship is to encourage our youth to explore the world of cross country skiing. We have decided to offer youth (age 18 and under) an opportunity to participate in the 2017 Junior Noquemanon through a scholarship program. Print this form and submit it with the 2017 Junior Noquemanon registration form to receive a free entry!

Singletrack Health Supports the Little Bay de Noc Trail
Singletrack Health recently donated $1000 to help support the Little Bay de Noc Trail. This 2.5 mile section of trail will be a 10ft wide smooth asphalt surface stretching from the city of Gladstone to P. Road. The waterfront trail will be designed for non-motorized traffic and will be enjoyed by bicyclists, runners, dog walkers, and much more.

Learn MoreDr. Jennifer Dehlin to present at Alzheimer’s Café
Dr. Jennifer Dehlin, from Singletrack Heath Care and Associate Medical Director of Lake Superior Hospice, will present at the Alzheimer’s Café on December 14th, at 3:30. Dr. Dehlin, who is also the host of “Ask the Doctors” on WNMU-TV, will be answering questions about memory loss, and advice on making your medical care work for you.
The Alzheimer’s Café is hosted at Lake Superior Adult Day Services, located on the ground floor of Messiah Lutheran Church, 305 W. Magnetic St. in Marquette. (watch for signs)
The café meets monthly on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 3:30 – 5:00 and anyone interested in memory loss, dementia, or Alzheimer’s is welcome! Coffee is always on and snacks provided.

Santa came to Singletrack Health today to see Dr. Chris for his annual checkup. Dr. Chris gave Santa a clean bill of health, but talked to him about making healthy food choices and walking more between houses when he’s delivering presents this year. Afterward, Santa met with children and talked about the importance of seeing a doctor every year.
